Oversize? That is at leat 4 sizes too big (look at the sleeves) and it makes her look ridiculously puffed up. The proportions are all over the shop. I love oversize coats, I own one, but I’d never buy one which is too big JUST because is Isabel Marant.
Nanna, her coat is HM X MMM, it’s meant to be that oversized on anyone no matter their body type. Sophia is NOT the type of blogger who wears labels just to wear them so if you’re going to blast someone, at least get your facts straight about the person and what they’re wearing. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and yes, in this case you don’t like her coat, but it’s a bit mean girlish of you, and Sophia’s one of my favorite people so I have to stand up. – Aliya

Aliya, fair enough about the coat. You’re right, I definitely do not like it at all (I remember having the same feeling when the collection came out, to me it’s basically a bad take on an IM David coat), though I like some of the MMM replica stuff for menswear. However I still find her combo a mess. Perhaps it doesn’t help that I find the Blackson boots quite unpleasant and together with the Céline bag it’s just an ubiquitous overload of fashion banalities (again, it’s just my opinion of course). Still, the reason why I like your style is because is so unlike hers which to me is very much cookie-cutter these days. Now, I understand she might be one of your favourite people, but what I found meangirlish is your “having to stand up” when really I was just expressing my opinion and it happened not to be a positive one.

And that burgundy color is SOOO MAJOR!!!! AWESOME styling and lookin’ rockin’ like always! Big hug! ANd happpy Happy NEW YEAR Aliya!!! All the BEST for a FANTASTIC 2013!
