Behind The Scenes

Looking back at these photos makes me think a lot about Isabel’s upcoming show and wondering what she’s going to do. Someone on tMP’s Facebook page said that stars are going to be a big theme in her Spring collection, which you can already see in her SS13 sneakers here.
Her Fall collection has definitely grown more on me as I’ve seen it interpreted in editorials,
but I have to say or write that I’m really looking forward to Spring…
and saying goodbye to the West.

I have to agree! There are some great pieces but I’m not sure how often I would wear them. I love the orange lining of that jacket. <3

    beautiful skirts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. It was me on your FB page, I’v seen a sneak peak from my favourite stores SS13 buy list. Star print cords, stars on stilletos and lots of cheese cloth – this was for etoile however. Can not wait for the show :)

    • Thanks for sharing! Were they same silhouettes like Étoile SS12 or more of a variety? – Aliya :)

  4. Very etoile and very cute. Hmm racking my brains to remember! Cropped washed cords in pale yellow and pale pink w/ complimentary striped D ring belt (cuuute), cheese cloth top which I am obsessing over already with no sleeves and rough slubby texture – very classic Marant style, padded jackets like SS12 but different print, a quite weird 70′s type graphic print on white which maybe will grow on me (probably), multi coloured open weave knits like SS11, all in all very colourful and pastel mixed. Already have to start saving as I have bought a lot a lot this season :) x Caroline

  5. I’ve fallen for that coat in this first picture! Love it! I’m excited to see her new collection, but I’m not really feeling the stars on the sneakers..we’ll see, maybe I’ll change my mind which often happens. Can’t wait for the runway show!! :)

    xxT

  6. Love these backstage pics. I’ve also heard that next season will be all about the ’70′s and something Indian like theme with lots of stars (not the native Americans but from India), at least that’s what a buyer for IM told me. Am curious to see what that would look like. Can’t wait to see what the main line has in store for us!

Isabel is amazing! I really dont see how anyone can be as original as she is and sooo creative! EVERYTHING she shows is splendid. I have these amazing fringe boots and wear them so much I cant wait to see what her FALL collection will be like…. The cream lace top and skirt is screaming “buy me buy me”!!!!!
THANKS for sharing this amazing post!

  8. I’m also very looking forward to what she’ll be doing, and out with the west indeed haha. We’ll see!

  9. Your Blackson misadventure probably dampened your enthusiasm about this collection… As for me I wouldn’t be against a nice Western embroidered shirt !

  10. I can’t wait for the runway and behind the scenes shots for the next collection. The ‘west’ just doesn’t work for me although there are pieces that I adore. The David coat I’m so keen to receive but saving some hard earned dollars for the summer collection. That is always my favourite. Stars you say…. Sounds cute.

    xx Mandi

  11. No way Aliya, you’re no a fan of IM’s western style?!? I love it… Stars??? She already used stars back in 2010… Well, I can’t wait either, hope this will be more elegant, sexy, chic however like fall 2010 and summer 2010- these were my favourite collections…EVER! :)
