Repetition is Key?

I know that you know that Isabel likes to recycle different pieces from collection to collection,
but I was surprised to see how much this print was used for Fall. I love these silhouettes,
but what I don’t love is having too many options. Well maybe it’s not the option of too many options,
I just would’ve liked the option of different prints.
What do you think?

Wow, thats a lot! Indeed, I would bring it back to 2 styles and different patterns
Isabel is very smart and I think her designs accommodate all body types and is age appropriate. That’s why there’s many options. If you miss a piece from a past season, you can almost count on a similar one next season. What I do not like is the fact that I’m paying a lot more for stylish sweats! She’s made me addicted to her everyday wear fashions :-)
My favorite silhouette is the Eley. I think it would be flattering on most body types. I do wish, however, that she came out with more prints for the fall. I’m not too keen on this particular print. Kind of a strange mottled stripe pattern that doesn’t really strike me as interesting or all that pretty but I’ve seen it on several people who seem to be able to pull it off nicely.
Ok, I take my comment back. Just saw a closeup of the print, and it’s actually pretty cute. It’s like a tiny Navajo print party! It’s just so hard to see the details from pictures, and I haven’t had a chance to see it IRL. Ugh, I hate it when I realize Ms. Marant knew exactly what she was doing. Just another reason to want more of her pieces. Isabel Marant = destroyer of bank accounts.
I totally agree with you!For example I recently got the Elen version but I would really go for the nesto one in a different print pattern.

I like that she’s offering different designs with the same pattern. As I tend to have a very particular taste in some things, it makes it a little bit easier for me to pick something that suits my style and taste! I also like the fact that if I miss out on something this year, I might get a second chance next year with a similar release. :)
Yeah, it’s tricky because if you love the shape of one these pieces, but not the print, you’re screwed, BUT if you happen to love the print, you have a ton of options. :)

The pieces are beautiful, but I agree!

I have to agree with you. It’s nicer to have something unique as well so by the time a pattern is used in 5 items it looses what makes it that bit special. It would have been nicer to see two different prints rather than all the same. I really love the cut of the Ellos dress
