Isabel Marant

“Key words for me are always discretion, style and attitude. But, above all, comfort.
If a French girl has to go out, she is going to start by dressing up, then at the last minute,
she’s going to grab the old jeans that she was wearing all day and say, F*** it!
I feel more like this. That’s really what my fashion is all about.” – Isabel Marant

  4. That’s a lovely tribute to Isabel and her cool way of living and dressing. Especially today 14th July, Bastille Day !

  7. Ahh love this. I was wondering by the way, did you know Isabel is making her line more seperate? At least in Europe, my local store that so far I got all my Marant pieces from, can now only sell Etoile since they wouldn’t let them sell Isabel Marant anymore unless they upgraded the brands they sell (they now sell Humanoid, Acne, Current Elliott and a few more but they would have to upgrade with Stella McCartney and such). Totally sucks! The buyer told me Isabel wants to make the Isabel Marant brand more seperate from Etoile.. I mean I understand, thinking of her success and all, but still. I’m so angry haha! I had a store 500 meters away and now I have to travel by train to shop her stuff!

    • Yeah, I didn’t know that’s why, but they’ve been doing that in the States with boutiques. That sucks that you have to take a train now…
