Arizona Muse for Isabel Marant FW 2012

I promise every weekend won’t be an Isabel Ad Campaign post, but I finally found all the released photos! So F/W 2012 seems to be a polarizing campaign from people loving the styling to thinking
it’s too Western to just being indifferent about Arizona Muse. Needless to say, it’s very stylized and
definitely a departure from her previous ones. I do think the clothes are beautifully shot,
and I love the look of those heels paired with the cropped bordeaux pants.

that blue shirt is just gorgeous! love the embroidery.

  2. The lace blouse she’s wearing is so incredibly pretty!

  3. Wow! This is indeed something different from her previous campaigns. That blue shirt is so nice, too bad it’s so extremely high priced. xx Kayin

  4. Hmm… definitely not my favourite ad campaign and that pains me to say as a IM devotee. The images of the coat has gotten me excited however about the arrival of my David coat.

Not loving it, but you can’t win them all, right? The attempt to juxtapose the feminine with the masculine just doesn’t work for me here. Arizona has an amazing face, but I don’t think the pompadour is doing her any justice. I definitely prefer the F/W Etoile pieces. It’s just really hard for a Texan to see the Western pieces in a luxury line when you can find almost the same pieces in the local boot store. Is it strange that I’m already getting antsy about the S/S ’13 collection?

Some of the more western pieces just aren’t doing it for me. I love the lace though. Maybe once I see them worn by real people I will change my mind! xx

    • I like your point of view Teresa, and I’m totally antsy, too about SS13. I don’t know what she’ll do, but I’m excited!

  6. Gosh I really don’t know, Arizona is just way too masculine for me and I’m not digging to overly western vibes but indeed those burgundy trousers with those heels look gooood..
