Since we’re a community of Marant enthusiasts, it’s essential that you know where to find her stuff. Metier in San Francisco seems to stay very current in stocking her lines. What’s also great is how
they feature her pieces in street style photos on their blog. Metier takes phone orders and also ships
internationally, and word on their blog is that they’re getting another Spring shipment in soon!

Since the runways have been shifting our attention to fall, I wanted to remind myself of Isabel’s
Spring collection to regain some climatic perspective. These knits are so beautiful up close, and the shorts in the first photo are substantial. The textures, the colors! Everything pulls together quite perfectly.
Just felt like it was a good day for cyber dress-up.

…or the Dana. I find myself in the same predicament with the Willow and the Bekket, not quite sure
the distinction. Do you know? Well either way, the Bardu-Dana is such a beautiful specimen from Isabel’s Spring 2010 collection. I don’t own them, but they’re everything I would want in a boot.

When I first started the blog, I didn’t know too much about Isabel’s thoughts on fashion. Her clothing
just felt instinctively right, and in discovering more about her point of view, I feel like my instinct
was spot on. There’s no pomp and circumstance. No fashion scene fuss. Just a keen sense of self
with an aesthetic that expresses what she wants to wear everyday. Love.
